A bedding plant is usually a flowering plant, most often annuals, that is grown in quantity in pots or flats. Raising these bedding plants in a protected environment, and then transplant them into a flower garden, outdoor planter, hanging basket, window box – wherever their final destination may be – to be displayed while in bloom.
